I’ve always loved JK Rowling’s writing. One of the best in the business. Harry Potter was extremely enjoyable and fun to read with the kids but this Cormoran Strike adult mystery series I have really enjoyed. I always think that I have the mystery figured out and then she throws a curve at the end and yet it still fits. The books are long, a thousand pages or more, but for me that’s all the more to enjoy. Though I enjoyed both The Ink Black Heart and The Running Grave, I probably enjoyed The Ink Black Heart more involving the online world. But The Running Grave is definitely worth the read also, delving into a sinister cult. I highly recommend both if you like mysteries and like to be surprised. I like how the relationship is portrayed between the two main characters also. I can’t wait to see what JK Rowling throws at us next.
